Do you live in Reservoir, Thornbury, Northcote, Greensborough? Then consider attending local ANZAC Day memorial services being held in your local community.
As this is the centenary of the ANZAC landings, the Shrine of Remembrance ceremony in the Melbourne CBD is bound to be popular. However, it’s not always easy to get there at the best of times, let alone when roads are blocked off and thousands of people are also trying to get there.
That’s why the RSL is encouraging people to consider attending a ceremony in their local community as there are many being held across Melbourne and regional Victoria. If you are not already aware of the closest ceremony to where you live, you can easily search for one via the ANZAC Centenary website.
Lest we forget.
