My kingdom for a Porsche Cayenne

Porsche Cayenne
Porsche Cayenne

This week there is a very unhappy Porsche Cayenne driver in Ivanhoe.

Imagine having this car, locking it, putting your keys inside in a safe place and then waking up in the middle of the night to hear it being driven away. Well, that’s what happened to one Ivanhoe resident.

According to Ivanhoe East Police, the thief entered the property at 4am through an unlocked back door, then took a tin with the car keys inside, allowing him to steal the Posrche Cayenne worth $200,000.  Fortunately the thief was caught on CCTV so Ivanhoe East police have a description.

This sorry tale just proves that you only need one hole in your security system to cancel out the effectiveness of the other measures. I bet this Ivanhoe resident is wishing he’d only locked his back door.
